Pearl Logic is a highly experienced Expense Mitigation team of Data Collection Specialists, Market Researchers, Billing Experts, Financial Analysts, Data Auditors, Vendor Contract Specialists, Negotiators, Engineers, Implementation Experts and Project Managers; and we basically function as a temporary department (typically as somewhat of an extension of the Finance Department), and most certainly on the same team as any other Department within our Client’s organization; with the sole objective of assisting our Clients find ways to reduce operating expenses and improve margins / operating capital.
We work with Clients to examine their current operating expenses from across their entire business operations; benchmark those expenses against the market and explore ways to reduce those costs in order to eliminate any incorrect vendor billing and any inefficient spending; recover any possible refunds and/or credits; identify possible areas and potential solutions to reduce costs or improve efficiencies; and we also attempt to secure discounts and reduced pricing wherever possible, to maximize Client operating capital.
On average, where our Client has more than 500 employees, we’ve typically been able to assist Clients reduce operating expenses by around ~$75 – $100+ per employee, per month** (** divide total amount of cost reductions / savings at the end of a project by total number of Client employees). While there is no guarantee that we’ll find the same results for every Client, this has been about average.
With every Client project, we target our energies towards very thorough and comprehensive efforts to review, audit and analyze every operating expense, with a single mission to uncover areas to reduce overall operating costs, and create an environment in which Operations, Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, Training, Shipping, Production, HR, Accounting, Facilities, Telecom, Support, Customer Service, IT, Finance, Field Service, and virtually every other organizational department can manage and deliver the best possible product, service and solution at the most competitive prices to all of their respective end-users.
Experts in expense mitigation, cost containment and spend management, Pearl Logic’s processes are designed to minimize our Client’s staff time involvement in performing all of the steps of our comprehensive Expense Mitigation services. Pearl Logic operates completely different from typical cost reduction consulting firms. We approach each opportunity with a six-phased methodology, whereas other firms may only provide basic recommendations.
In exchange for our services, Pearl Logic’s fee is a 25% share of the Client’s financial cost reduction benefits, while the Client retains 75% of any cost reduction benefits through our findings, for 36 months.
Example: if Pearl Logic helps our Client reduce operating expenses by say $100,000 per month, Pearl Logic would invoice $25,000 per month for 36 months; which also translates into the Client experiencing $75,000 per month of new operating capital over that same 36 month billing cycle; and $100,000 per month of new operating capital in month 37 and beyond). In essence, our fee comes from the Vendor’s pocket; since our processes typically recover that generous gratuity unknowingly being donated by our Clients every time they pay a Vendor Invoice.
Over that 36 month period, we will monitor those audited expense areas, to ensure that “price creep” doesn’t work its way back into your Vendor Invoices.
If we’re unable to secure any refunds, credits or deliver any reduction in operating expenses, we do not charge a single penny, which has NEVER happened.
